Forms and Documents Needed
The change of residence declaration must be filled out through forms prepared by the relevant office. Failure to complete the mandatory fields renders the application inadmissible. Forms available for download include:

Necessary attachments
A copy of the identity document of the applicant and the persons transferring residence, who must sign the form if they are of age, must be attached to the declaration of transfer of residence.
Citizens of the European Union and the United Kingdom must apply at the counter of the Community Residence Office. As of January 30, 2023, residency declarations are no longer accepted via e-mail.

Declarations can be submitted online with digital identity (SPID, CIE, CNS) via the Ministry of the Interior's ANPR portal or at the counter after a mandatory appointment.
If within 45 days the interested party does not receive any communication regarding missing requirements or negative results of verifications, the file is considered finalized in application of the institute of silence-consent.
