Starting Sunday, June 9th, a new bus service will commence connecting Padua and Venice's Marco Polo Airport, operated by Busitalia Veneto, a company within the Passenger Hub of the FS Italiane Group.
This service promises to significantly ease travel between the city and the airport, catering to both business and leisure travelers.

The new connection will feature 54 daily trips, with 27 departures in each direction. The frequency of the trips will be every 40 minutes, ensuring comprehensive and continuous coverage throughout the day.
The first bus from Padua will depart at 5:30 AM, while the last one will be at 10:50 PM. From Marco Polo Airport, the first bus will depart at 6:30 AM and the last one at 11:50 PM.
The expected travel time is 45 minutes, allowing passengers to easily plan their transfers.
Additional services
In addition to the direct connection between Padua and the airport, Busitalia has planned an additional service connecting Padua with the thermal area of the Euganean Hills, specifically Abano and Montegrotto Terme.
This additional service will be integrated with some of the main trips, offering a convenient transport option for those wishing to reach the renowned thermal locations.
Bus features
The buses used for this service will be Crossway 12 Line Iveco, which entered service in 2023.
These vehicles, belonging to the Euro 6 class, are environmentally friendly and can carry up to 72 passengers, with 51 seated, 20 standing, and one space for a passenger with reduced mobility.

Until August 31st, the cost of a single ticket will be €9.40 if purchased in advance, while the price will increase to €10 if bought directly on board from the driver.
